OUR DIFFERENCE
We use 925 silver as a base for all our jewelry and plate with a 2x thicker 14k gold* or rhodium for greater durability.
Our Difference
2X THICKER GOLD PLATING*
We coat our gold-plated jewelry at an extra thickness of 1 micron to ensure greater durability over time. This is double the industry standard when it comes to gold-plated items.
*applies to Dreams of Italy collection, Love & Letters collection, and other select items
ANTI-TARNISH COATING
All Remicity products are treated with anti-tarnish coating to prevent the natural process of tarnishing. If it does happen, no biggie. It all wipes off with a jewelry cloth!

NEVER BRASS BASED
All our pieces at Remicity start with a 925 sterling silver base, providing a durable and long-lasting foundation for the jewelry. We never use brass or other base metals like copper, lead, and nickel as the base of our jewelry pieces. By only using jewelry with a sterling silver base plated in gold, rhodium, or platinum, we are able to ensure that the jewelry we offer is of the highest quality and durability, while still remaining affordable.
HYPOALLERGENIC
Our jewelry is hypoallergenic because we only use 925 sterling silver as our base. As a precious metal, sterling silver is one of the purest metals, allowing more people who have skin sensitivities to wear them without worry.
**there may be a small minority who is allergic to 925 SS
ETHICALLY SOURCED
We only source jewelry from manufacturers and studios that are official members of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and are certified for practicing responsible sourcing and manufacturing. The membership requires our partners to adhere to integrating ethical, human rights, social and environmental considerations into their day-to-day operations, business planning activities and decision-making processes. Members of the RJC must be fully committed to sourcing only ethically obtained and conflict free diamonds and metals. Additionally, we conduct studio visits each year to establish personal relations and develop trust with our jewelers and those they employ.
HIGHEST QUALITY CUBIC ZIRCONIA
Cubic zirconia is a lab-made stone that can closely resemble a diamond. It is made from a crystal form of zirconium dioxide and is a popular alternative to a diamond because it offers similar visual characteristics at a fraction of the cost. However, not all cubic zirconias are the same. It comes in a range of qualities, ranked from AB (the lowest quality) to AAAAA (the highest quality). Remicity uses only the highest quality cubic zirconia – AAAAA grade – in our products. This means our stones have brilliance, the best clarity and finish, and great durability. To deliver on our mission of offering affordable, high quality jewelry, we hand-set our AAAAA grade cubic zirconia in precious metals – gold, sterling silver, and rhodium. To learn more about each material we use, please see Our Materials page.
EXPERT CRAFTSMANSHIP
Many jewelry sellers use cost-cutting methods like setting CZs in wax to produce their pieces. Cutting costs isn’t always a bad thing – unless it causes the quality of the item to suffer. Rather than use this method ourselves, Remicity only uses expert jewelers that handset each stone in place. In fact, to ensure all our jewelry is of high quality, we use the same jewelers that have decades of experience setting real diamonds themselves. This causes our CZ products to sparkle brighter and last longer.
RECYCLED MATERIALS USED WHEN POSSIBLE
Recycled metals are more brittle and do not result in the finest castings. Because our utmost priority is to provide excellent craftsmanship at an affordible price point, we do not always use recycled gold and silver. Our goal is to ensure a certain level of quality in our pieces, so while we always try to incorporate recycled metals when possible, we do not always do so if it compromises the durability of the jewelry pieces.
